Cafe Cubita coffee is a coffee bean originated in the Sierra Maestra Mountains and roasted in Havana . It was traditionally brewed in "moka pots" which then evolved into a world known premium espresso brand.
Cubita in Spanish means "cube size" or "small drink" and in Cuban culture the word refers to "Little Cuba".
Cafe Cubita coffee is hand-picked Arabica beans that are then sun-dried before roasting in Havana.
The beans are well known for it's earthy yet smoky flavor and caramel colored finish after pouring.
A single shot (1 fl oz) of Cubita espresso can contain up to 60 milligrams of caffeine and is hugely popular in Cuban restaurants all over the United States. Some baristas in Tampa and Miami Florida, exclusively only use Cafe Cubita for espressos and coffee.
Made of clay ceramics and stoneware the holder has metal hooks to hang four espresso standard shot cups.(cups in photo included)......RARE FIND!
