Vohann of California began in the 1950's in Capistrano Beach, CA by George Kitchel. Many of designs were the colors were often pastels or dark rich shades, and came in shapes like trains, ashtrays, over 300 different types of animals, boxes, trays, etc. Kitchel produced some very interesting lines of his product, one being "Structeramic". Structeramic came in various items (mostly ashtrays) and had wrought metal wire holders, usually white and had a crackled glass appearance. Another crackled glass line was "Hoodwink" which had an angular cut mold design. Vohann of California's pottery vision is an acquired taste for some and his modernistic designs were very true to their period of the 1960's-1980's. Vohann spent time in Laguna Beach and San Clemente making pottery but then faded away. This Chocolate Brown bathroom organizer is in the shape of a train engine. Measures 6.5" Wide 5.5" Tall and 3" Deep and weighs 1 lb 6 oz. No cracks or chips...has rubber stopper for drain. stand in photo not included
