Back in the 1960's this was essential for coming of age teenage drivers. Along with drivers education, this book was the "GO-TO" manual for automotive needs when mom or dad wasn't around to help.
Contains hundreds of important facts to aid the motorist, including: what to do in case of-accident, engine trouble, injuries.
How to: Drive safely in all kinds of traffic and weather, reduce your gas bills, take care of your tires and batteries, start your car in cold weather, sell and buy a used car, keep your car mechanically safe.
But the really unique feature of this book is a distress signal which folds out from inside the back cover.
Not ever needed these days with technology advancements, this item is a reminder of a a simpler and my opinion industrious time.
